National Park Souss Massa
Covering an area of 33,800 hectares south of Agadir, the Souss Massa National Park (PNSM) site embodies an important national treasure that presents a vast range of biological and ecological diversity. It has more than 300 species of plants, including the famous argan tree. The park is a habitat for 30 species of mammals, such as foxes, jackals, hares, deer and porcupines, among others. Additionally, the park is home to a collection of 250 avian species, including the largest colony of bald ibis on the planet. Another captivating sight is the presence of red-necked ostriches. This vast natural expanse, ideal for family excursions, offers exploration trails that cross extraordinary landscapes: steppes, cliffs, coastal dunes and wetlands. Additionally, the park serves as a winter sanctuary for many migratory birds.
